To help maintain this dream, Omaha offers the security of its own: FREE HELPLINE0800 OMAHA HELP (0800 66 24 24)This number is monitored 24 hours a day by Insite Security and has been set up for the safety of residents and holidaymakers at Omaha Beach. Our 0800 number is your friendly talk line - as well as calling us for emergencies, let us know about property damage, offensive behaviour, graffiti etc. or any situation with which you are not comfortable. Insite Security will log your call and a file will be maintained to build a history of problems / incidents. Please note that if a personal call out is required - that is, if you ask Insite Security to attend a specific incident for you - then you will be liable for their account. Please note that our 0800 OMAHA HELP line does not replace the National 111 Emergency number in the event of life threatening emergencies.
SECURITY CAMERAS For the safety and security of Omaha Beach Residents 24 hour security surveillance cameras and ancillary equipment are installed and fully operational at Omaha Beach. The security cameras are situated at the roundabout where Omaha Drive meets Broadlands Drive, the single road entranceway to Omaha. The cameras have day/night capabilities and record vehicle details on entry and exit. The complete system is monitored and maintained for OBC Inc. by Insite Security of Warkworth. The funding for this $22,000 project was achieved through a 50/50 initiative between the Rodney District Council and Michael and Sheryl Dow of Omaha Beach real estate fame.
